Free Printable Chore Chart: AHG Resource
Hello,
We have been a part of American Heritage Girls for about 3 months now and are still getting the hang of it. Thus far, I am very glad that we can incorporate much of it in our homeschool and even everyday life. In order to stay organize, we are keeping projects and pictures in a three-ring binder. For this reason, I made a free printable chore chart to help keep track of the first badge my daughter will be working on. As we learn the ropes of this program, I will be adding more of my daughter’s experience.
Chores
About a year ago, I had been racking my head on how to end the struggle of getting our kids to help with chores. As an avid Dave Ramsey listener, I decided to put what I had learned from the shows to good use. So my husband and I made a list of tasks, set a price for them, and opened a savings account for each of our kids. This has really helped on so many levels and we rarely hear them grumble anymore. They have been keeping their bedrooms more organized, learning about finances, and fighting less about housework. Win, win, thank you God!
We have been using a chore chart to help our kids keep track of their work. I have included a blank printable chore chart, feel free to use for yourself
Family Helper: Tracking requirements 7 & 8
After going through the handbook, I felt that we could begin with badges close related to our homeschool learning. When I saw this merit badge, I felt it would be fairly simple for my daughter to earn since she already has this responsibility. Of course she thought otherwise but I know it will help her form good cleaning habits. Moreover, I love how it reiterates the whole idea of how a family should work as a team.
Here is a free printable chore chart that can help your American Heritage Girl keep track of her work for this badge.

As my daughter is in the Explorer level, this free printable is a simplified breakdown of requirements 7 and 8 as per the AHG handbook. Please refer to the handbook for full details and other program level requirements to earn the Family Helper merit badge.
